Each student follows well-structured and popular
Mathematics schemes that are designed to address the individual’s needs in
this subject. Together with our own learning materials they provide a
sound framework for a full delivery of the National Curriculum. The aim of
the Mathematics team has been to provide a balance of investigational
approaches, problem solving techniques and traditional skills.
Classroom support is available at both Key Stage 3 and
4.
We believe that each individual should be encouraged to experience the
enjoyment of solving problems using mathematics and to discover the
intriguing links between mathematics and the world around them.
